Better Prezi Presentations

Since forming The Prezenter ltd we have seen a steady growth in the business worlds adoption of Prezi. There’s still a long way to go before Prezis global reach matches PowerPoint, but will 2014 be the year when everyone realises the importance of better presentations? And if so will they be brave enough to turn to Prezi, or will they stay with the security blanket of PowerPoint?
Here’s our thoughts on why everyone should at least give Prezi a try this year.

I’m pretty sure it was the legendary Life Coach Tony Robbins that said….

“If you do what you always do, you will get what you always get”
That statement can be applied to all areas of our lives, and anyone looking to change things up and make their own little worlds more exciting and enjoyable should of course try something new. Or try something they do regularly in a different way to what they are used to. It’ll definitely open your eyes to new possibilities, it will help you re-engage with that monotinous old task, it will bring the fun back to things, and more importantly you’ll start to love what it is you’re doing again.
Imagine if you applied that simple change to your presentations!!!
You could remove the boredom from your presentations for you and the audience, you could re-engage and grab the audiences attention again, you could start to have more fun with the way you present. But most of all you’ll start to fall in love with the art of presenting.
But none of this will happen if:
– You keep on using the same old slide based presentation tool
– You continue to believe bullet points need to be on every slide
– You think animation will help grab attention
– You don’t try a new way of presenting

And that’s where Prezi comes in

Allow me to tell you in the simplest way I can what Prezi really is……….

Prezi gives you the chance to present in a completely different way

That’s all there is to it. The software itself, the user interface, the buttons, the features, the great use of the cloud, and so on, all of this is actually secondary the the fact that Prezi allows you to present in a completely different way. A way that allows for a much more natural conversation with your audience, A way that allows audience members to do the driving and decide the path on which your presentation will flow, A way that is so easily memorable by your audience that it can actually help you win new business and gain new customers.
In 2014 we are extremely excited about helping even more new Prezi users realise the importance of presenting in a different way, and we hope you have the opportunity to at least give Prezi a try for yourself.
