MacRebur’s carefully selected plastics, taken from old rubbish, are added into roads to improve strength and durability, whilst reducing the quantity of the oil based bitumen used in a traditional road mix. These roads outperform their traditional counterparts by 60%.
Our brief was to create a presentation that not only caught the imagination of MacRebur’s audience, but also encouraged them to invest.
Our solution was to first introduce the audience to some scary facts about waste plastics and their effect on our environment. We used a humorous photographic style to help tell the story of how plastics could be better used to improve the world’s roads. Our designers created a MacRebur world that the audience travels through during the presentation.
The end result was presented at a TEDx presentation, and has also been used to help gain investment of over £1Million.
