If you’ve been a regular visitor on The Prezenter website, then you probably know a thing or two about creating PowerPoint presentations. From planning out the content to creating an engaging storyline and adding in suitable images, we have everything covered.

Now let’s focus on taking your presentation to the next level by adding a great image animation. The advanced Parallax Zoom effect in PowerPoint enables you to do just that. With some clever editing, you can turn an image into a spectacular visual that has layers zooming in and out. Below is an example, and you can also download your own template by following the link below.

To better illustrate what can be achieved with Parallax Zoom, we created a FREE template, which is easy to modify and change the image to anything you’d like. Download your copy now.

When editing your presentation there are a few things to consider:

  • After you set the deck and slides up, you can add in any image by changing the background image
RIGHT CLICK, select FORMAT BACKGROUND, then upload a new picture
  • Generally, 360 images with an object/person in the foreground work best (see skier example above)
  • You can also select the ‘Auto-Reverse’ setting in the Effect Options to zoom in and out

You can learn how to use PowerPoint more effectively and find out about some of the new features available at our training course on the 10th July. This course is very popular – reserve your ticket before they’re all gone!
